Snapshot
The stairs creaked softly behind them and the tabbies turned to see two green eyes. The eyes seemed to be floating in space because they were surrounding by darkness. But gradually Polo could tell that the eyes belonged to a very black cat. And when the very black cat opened its mouth and gave a very long yowl that started low and traveled high, wavered up and down like a roller coaster, and finally dissolved into a growl, Polo knew it was Elvis.
