1)There was a bellow of collective outrage.the whole of the mouse community surged toward Despereaux.The mice seemed to become one angry body with hundreds of tails and thousands of whiskers and one huge,hungry mouth opening and closing and opening and closing,saying over and over and over,"To the dungeon.To the dungeon.To the dungeon."

2)This ,thought Despereaux,was the world he was leaving behind, the world that he knew and loved.And somewhere in it ,the Princess Pea was laughing and smiling and clapping her hands to music,unaware of Despereaux's fate. That he would not be able to let the princess know what had become of him seemed suddenly un bearable to the mouse.

3)The royal family was surrounded by knights in shining armor and horses in shining armor. and atop each member of the royal family'head,there was a golden crown, and they were all,the king and the queen and the princess, dressed in robes decorated with jewels and sequins that glittered and glowed and captured the light of the setting sun and reflected it back.

4)The teacher stomped into the room with loud thud.Her face was molten larva. She was boiling with rage .She clenched her fist in anger.Her fist landed on the table with a loud thud.Seething with anger,she bared her teeth in an ugly snarl. she vented,"Where is my work???"She threw her books and pencil box on the ground with great force."Not again......"the class sighed.
