1) The huge snake emerged to climb slowly up to Veldemort's chair. It rose,seemingly endlessly, and came to rest across Voldemort's shoulders: its neck the thickness of a man's thigh; its eyes, with their vertical slits for pupils, unblinking. Voldemort stroked the creature absently with long, thin fingers, still looking at Lucius Malfoy.

2) Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly that year. The morning of the first of September was crisp and golden as an apple, and as the little family bobbed across the rumbling road towards the great, sooty station, the fumes of the car exhausts and the breath of pedestrians sparkled like cobwebs in the cold air. Two large cages rattled on top of the laden trolleys the parents were pushing; the owls inside them hooted indignantly, and the red-headed girl trailed tearfully behind her brothers, clutching her father's arm.
3) The hallway was large, dimly lit and sumptuously decorated,with a magnificent carpet covering most of the stone floor. The eyes of the pale-faced portraits on the walls followed Snape and Yaxley as they strode past. The two men halted at a heavy wooden door leading to the next room, hesitated for the space of a heartbeat, then Snape turned the bronze handle.

"Who kicked the ball and smashed my window?" a deafening voice raced through the air, into the boys' ears from the house. Just a few seconds later, a man stormed out of the house.His well-built body was enough to scare the boys out of their wits. Cold sweat began to form on the boys' forehead. They were at the midst of what to do.
" So how are you three supposed to pay for this?'' The man stared at the three boys with menacing eyes. "How? Answer me!"
The man stormed forward with heavy steps with his muscular thighs, while the boys walk backwards, step by step.
" Pay for a new window or I'll call the police!" The man threatened.
" Please don't! We'll settle everything," Mark told the man timidly...
